New Way Stationary Engines

Aim - To serve and support the New Way Stationary Engine restoration community.
There was a New Way Stationary Motor inclined to Hit and Miss. It was designed that way but intermittently it would missfire and this in the confines of the beekeepers shed fired my imagination, grabbing my senses. I just loved the sound of the New Way 3.5Hp working - likely fuelled by a too rich mixture.
With each missfire came the tell tale puff of blue smoke and via the old sawbench, the beekeeping manufacturing business was underway, alive and well. Alf was in his element. Romance, nah, hard work but Hoots the New Way went a long way in firing the imagination of times past running in the present. The present, after all, that's where life is, it's not in the past, but romancing the past, that's the present if you're living it.
The priveledge of life. Present and past is now!!! - alive.

New Way Motor Company - D9 General Catalog

New Way Enthusiasts
It has happened again - We have been able to make available to New Way Engine Enthusiasts a new, rare and very informative document. This is the second one in very recent times along with the New Way Horizontal Twin Hitt Miss Instruction that we have been able to make available.

New Way Motor Company of Lansing michigan, produced many cataloges with their general range catalogs usually prefixed by a D. This is illustrated by one of their readily available catalogs, the D-11. The catalog depicting the New Way Products of 1911.

Today we are advising that we have the New Way Catalog D-9 {1909} available for download. This is a great catalog of over 50 pages. Considering it's age, it is in magnificent condition. We have cleaned it up for clarity and presentation. It gives a wonderful insight into the very early years of the New Way Motor Company and their product range. This includes the early use of friction magneto (dynamo) which produced a voltage supply in lieu of dry cells for the operation of the Buzz Coil used to generate the ignition sparks. The depiction shows the magneto along with it's mounting bracket and alignment with the large engine flywheel.

NOTE - 2 pages were torn- we used a bit of newwaystation licence to replace missing info. as noted.

You just never know when the next rare new way document will make an appearance. If you can help - please do.
